9 Mistakes in Game Of Thrones
A great amount of work is needed to create an epic show such as Game of Thrones. Although the music and effects might be flawless, the showrunners and actors still make mistakes.
Here are some of the biggest on-screen goofs of the series.
1. The Famous Coffee Cup

Everyone was eagerly waiting for the last season of the series. Alongside the plot, what surprised fans the most was a coffee cup that appeared in the fourth episode. After the characters are celebrating the victory against the Army of the Dead, a coffee cup can be seen on the table in front of Daenerys. The image spread virally on the internet, including creating memes and jokes around it. Finally, HBO announced a funny statement about the mistake and digitally removed the coffee cup from the episode.
2. Water Bottles in the Final Episode

After the modern coffee cup, the viewers noticed water bottles in the final episode of the show. A water bottle first appeared behind Samwell Tarly’s foot. Moments later, another bottle can be seen under Ser Davos’ chair. Apparently, the actors wanted to hide their bottles but they still appeared in the scene.
3. Daenerys’ Different Hairstyles Between Shots

The braids of Daenerys indicate her battle victories, and the number of them constantly increases. However, it seems the show creators had trouble with choosing the right wigs. In season 8, Daenerys' hairstyle changes between shots.
4. Laptop Charger Under Stannis’ Leg

There is no denying that advanced technology is needed to create the mood of the series. Perhaps this is the reason why we see something similar to a laptop charger under Stannis Baratheon’s leg at the scene of his death. Despite the darkness, viewers were still able to spot the mistake.
5. Different Heights of Jaime and Brienne

Brienne of Tarth is significantly higher than Jamie Lannister. However, their height changes from scene to scene.
6. The Icons of the Houses

The opening of Game of Thrones serves as a guide to the fictional world of the series accompanied by a memorable theme song of Ramin Djawadi. The opening involves actors and the icons of houses their characters belong to. Apparently, the creators often mistook them for each other. In the openings of some episodes, Sansa Stark suddenly becomes a part of Targaryens' house, and Daenerys Targaryen ends up being a Lannister.
7. Missing Necklace

In season 6 we find out that Melisandre is very old, and it is only her necklace that keeps her young. But it seems the showrunners forgot to take it into account in the earlier seasons. In season 4 when Melisandre is talking to Selyse Baratheon from a bathtub, we clearly see that she does not wear the necklace but still looks young.
8. Jon Snow's Rubber Sword

The Battle of the Bastards is one of the well-known fighting scenes in the show. But there is one comic detail in the scene. When Ramsay Bolton aims to kill Rickon, John Snow leaps on the horse to save his brother. At this moment, John’s sword starts swaying by his side as if it was made of rubber. This is especially easy to notice when viewers know the sword was made of Valyrian steel.
9. Modern Clothes

Apparently, folks used to wear jeans in Westeros. At least this is what we see in the first episode of the show. A man in the background seems to be dressed in modern clothes. Maybe saving the budget was the case but the viewers always notice even the tiniest details.
